Hop On Over – Craft Beer in Bristol

There’s so much going on in Bristol, it spills over into two states – especially when you’re talking about beer, music and racing.

Bristol TN/VA Breweries:

Bristol Brewery

Bristol Brewery was founded with the passion to make great beer. Our goal is to provide a beer for everyone, whether you’re a novice or a beer aficionado. Expect to see a wide selection every time you come to visit.  We are sure you will find something you like, so come try a sample, drink, and enjoy.  The dream started between two homebrewers with  the idea to operate a brewery in Downtown Bristol    After spending several months looking for the right location, we found the Historical Bus Station in downtown Bristol.  Bristol Brewery has a 10 barrel brewing system which is one of the largest in the area. We want to be small enough so you know we care about the community, and big enough so you can enjoy our beers outside of the brewery.  Visit http://www.bristolbrew.com/ for more information about Bristol Brewery.

Holston River Brewing Company

Bristol’s first brewery.  Holston River Brewing contains several different components, including the brewery, taproom, outdoor area, and stage. We also have 138 acres for outdoor concerts and camping which includes full hook-up sites and hiking on the mountain.  The Taproom boasts a wall with a selection of 12 different taps! The garage doors stay open when it’s warm, and a crackling fire is almost always being lit once the sun goes down. There are picnic tables outside and seats around the bar to enjoy the music and company in comfort. The Stage is utilized for many live concerts and special events! The outdoor area has a cornhole boards, giant jenga and a picnic tables.  For more info, visit http://hrbrewing.weebly.com/

As a home brewer, Erich Allen and wife Pam, realized something quite simple: they wanted to brew beer because of their passion and desire to share beer with those who love to drink beer.  Currently, Studio Brew is piloting our beers and deciding the precise flavors that we think will best represent our clientele’s palate and menu.  StudioBrew is an Artisan Craft Brewery with an incredible Taproom servicing Trappist pairings of unique food to complement our craft beers.   In reality, what we are and what we do is enhance your customer’s experience by matching beer styles and flavors to the food you already serve.  Be sure to check out StudioBrew’s outstanding unique and eclectic dining menu, award-winning craft beer and 3-story downtown location at www.studiobrew.net.

And coming soon in 2016, two additional breweries are opening in Bristol:  Brew Rebellion and Smoky Mountain Brewery.

Bristol is also part of the Brewly Noted Beer Trail, a multi-city beer trail with 9 craft breweries in Bristol, Kingsport, and Johnson City.    Go online at www.brewlynotedbeertrail.com, register and pick up you hand-made Trail Log to start your craft beer adventure!  All you have to do is register and you’ll be sent an email you can present to the brewery you selected to start your journey.  Make sure you tag us at #BrewlyNotedBeerTrail when you start your journey and “like” us at www.facebook.com/brewlynotedbeertrail
