Discover Bristol Hosts 2nd Annual Bristol Oktoberfest on Sept. 30
A popular food and drink event returns to downtown Bristol as Discover Bristol hosts the second annual Bristol Oktoberfest event on Saturday, September 30, from 2-6 PM.
The fun food and beverage event allows attendees to stroll through Bristol’s historic downtown district as they sample German-style fare from 11 Bristol area restaurants and businesses.
“The fall season is such a wonderful time in Bristol, and Bristol Oktoberfest adds to it, said Beth Rhinehart, President & CEO of the Bristol Chamber of Commerce. This event allows residents and visitors to enjoy a popular German event while visiting some of Bristol’s best restaurants and breweries.”
Participants will go from stop to stop and enjoy a sample of various German offerings at each location. Attendees should wear their favorite Oktoberfest outfits to get into the spirit of the festival and compete for prizes in the costume contest.
“We want Bristol to be known as a fun place, and our Oktoberfest event is another example that solidifies that statement, said Spence Flagg, owner of Cascade Draft House and chair of the Discover Bristol Food & Beverage Committee. “Last year’s sold-out event proves the popularity of food and drinks events, and the historic downtown district provides the perfect setting for Bristol Oktoberfest’s crawl-style setup.”
Venues participating in Bristol Oktoberfest are Axe & Ale House, Bloom, Cascade Draft House, Delta Blues, Machiavelli’s, Southern Churn, State Street Brewing, Stateline Bar & Grille, The Angry Italian, The Corner, and The Sessions Hotel.
Early bird tickets are just $35, with prices increasing to $40 on Saturday, September 16. A $2 convenience fee will be added to each ticket purchased with a card.
