A Work of Art Gallery & Gifts is a dynamic, cooperative art gallery in historic downtown Bristol, committed to featuring the work of independent creative people from throughout the region.

Started in early 2010 as “606 State Street Gallery,” it has grown into a gallery, community space, and social environment that promotes art in the region, learning through human interaction, and the time for creative production.

In 2014, the gallery transformed into “A Work of Art Gallery & Gifts.” The artist co-op offers a unique array of Bristol-specific artwork and gifts, as well as community and event space for the creative heart of the mountains.

The gallery follows an egalitarian model and welcomes the general public. A member of the collective will always be on site to greet patrons. No appointment is ever necessary during hours of operation.
