Bristol has long been known as home to NASCAR’s most popular track – world famous Bristol Motor Speedway – and as the Birthplace of Country Music, both of which bring hundreds of thousands of visitors to the Twin Cities each year. However, there’s more to Bristol and the surrounding area than just racing and music…much more. Spectacular mountains and lakes and numerous hiking and biking trails greet visitors too, along with dozens of parks, golf courses and museums. There’s also Bristol and Appalachian Caverns, Bristol Dragway, Muddy Creek Raceway and motorcycle tours and rentals at EagleRider, as well as historic downtown, which is divided by the Tennessee/Virginia state line and features the Paramount Center for the Arts, the Bristol Train Station and the famous Bristol sign which reads “A Good Place To Live.”  With all that and genuine Southern hospitality too, Bristol is definitely a bucket list kind of place!
