LOCATION: Birthplace of Country Music Museum

Join us on Saturday, October 29, 10:00am-6:00pm for the museum’s Community Day! As a way to give back to our community, we will be offering FREE admission all day long. Visitors can explore the museum’s permanent exhibits throughout the day and participate in a variety of family-friendly activities from 12:00pm to 3:00pm. Activities will include:

Instrument Petting Zoo – Learn about and play different stringed instruments with Boppin’ Bailey George and Jukebox Jess
Square Dancing – Do-si-do with square dance caller Tyler Hughes
Spooky Stories – Join our readers for some great spooky and Halloween-themed reading
3D Printing – Make a guitar pick with T.J. DeWitt from the Bristol Public Library
Takeaways – Take the museum home with you with our banjo craft kits and music-related activity sheets
This is a great opportunity to have a fun day out with family and friends! Kids and the young-at-heart can experience other cool events in Historic Downtown Bristol on October 29, including Pumpkin Palooza, Downtown Trick-or-Treating 10am–12pm, a Costume Contest at Cumberland Square Park 10:30am–12:00pm, and Comics and More at Mountain Empire Comics and along 6th Street throughout the day.
