For more than 30 years Mick Kyte has performed in Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, and the Carolinas.
His songs are influenced by his love for Country music as well as, Blues, Bluegrass, Gospel, Folk, and everything else he heard floating through the Southern Appalachians.
His songs are mostly introspective and laced with themes that connect his perspectives with the listener through universal experiences and emotions. This integration of musical influences and universal experiences is how Appalachian Soul was born.
